Yes. Your LLC name doesn’t mean you own the right to use that name as a trademark. LLC are forced to rebrand everyday because someone else beat them to the punch and got their name registered first. The LLC protects you from your business liability. A trademark is your brand ownership.

If you have a trademark registration you can use that leverage to ask them to stop or come to an agreement. If they have a registration, they have the leverage, but you can hopefully come to an agreement. If neither of you has a registration… get on it.
